We’ve all been there as mothers where a few tips or mom life hacks would have made the difference … or maybe it’s just me.
That was what inspired this post to talk to the Kid Activities Blog mom community and realize how much I could share, how much I didn’t know, and how other people could use help too.
Super Smart Mom Hacks & Tips

Another tip for grounding is to put a lock on the power cord. That way, you don’t literally have to take the TV out of your nursery and they won’t be able to see anything until their grounding phase is over.
Turn off the TV
Do you have grumpy bored kids? Turn off the TV for a week. We were amazed at how a week without screens helped our kids be more inventive in their free time.

Mini marshmallow ouchie pods. Put some marshmallows in the freezer. They’re light, won’t hold up to much cold, and are the perfect ouchie pads.

Do you have a child who can’t help but turn the light NON-STOP? Make a switch cover. Super easy to do!
Save toilet paper
My toddler emptied the toilet paper on the floor too often! Stop it before it starts by sticking a wooden dowel (slightly longer than a roll of toilet paper) with round wooden dowel ends into a roll of toilet paper and then using a ponytail holder to hold the toilet paper in place by securing it one end at each of the dowel ends.
Is your forgetful child driving you? Creating a collection of paper bracelets with their “to-do” items is a great life tip for mothers to help them see what remains to be done.

Spending the whole day in the potty waiting for the “big event” to reward them? Or maybe you just have one child who takes forever to do their duty? Give him a dry-erase marker and have him scribble on the toilet lid. It wipes off!
